Terms of sale

These terms apply to every auction run by Aladdin's Auction on this website. By registering or placing a bid you agree to them.

Bidding

Every bid is a binding offer to buy the lot at that price plus the buyer's premium, sales tax and any fees listed below. Bids cannot be withdrawn. Some lots have a Buy Now price: buying at that price wins the lot at once and ends bidding on it. Lots close one after another at the times shown; a bid placed in the last minutes of a lot may extend that lot's closing time. Our server's clock is the official clock.

Buyer's premium and fees

A buyer's premium of 15% is added to the winning bid of every lot, and to the Buy Now price when a lot is bought outright. Sales tax is charged where required unless a valid resale or exemption certificate is on file before the invoice is made.

Condition

All lots are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with no warranty of any kind. Descriptions and photos are given in good faith, but you should inspect or ask questions before bidding. Retail prices are for reference only.

Payment

Winning bidders are charged the card on file after the auction closes. If the charge fails you will get an email with a link to pay.

Pickup and shipping

Pickup is at 120 Wilson Ct, Nicholasville, KY 40356 (Mon–Fri 10 AM–6 PM). Bring your invoice and a photo ID. Bring help and a vehicle big enough for your lots.

Unpaid or abandoned lots

Lots that are not paid for or not picked up by the deadline may be resold, and the bidder may lose bidding privileges. Payments for abandoned lots are not refunded.

Credit card authorization and waiver of disputes

Bidder authorizes Auctioneer, and its authorized payment processors acting on its behalf, to charge Bidder’s credit card for all amounts properly due under these Terms and Conditions, including the purchase price, buyer’s premium, applicable taxes, shipping fees and other expressly disclosed and agreed charges. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law and applicable card-network rules, Bidder waives the right to dispute or initiate a chargeback for charges that Bidder authorized and that were properly assessed in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Bidder shall not knowingly submit false or misleading information to a card issuer or use a payment dispute to avoid a valid payment obligation. A chargeback or reversal does not, by itself, extinguish an otherwise enforceable debt owed to Auctioneer. Nothing in this provision waives any right that cannot lawfully be waived, including applicable rights concerning unauthorized charges, billing errors, or goods not delivered as agreed.

Rewards points

How you earn: 1 point for every $1 of winning bids on invoices you have paid (not tax, shipping or fees). Bids alone don't earn points. You get 50 points when you create your bidder account. Your first paid win adds 100 bonus points.

Tiers: Silver after $500 of paid winning bids in the last 12 months (1.25× points), Gold after $2,000 (1.5× points).

Using points: every 100 points take $5 off your next invoice. Points are used automatically, oldest first, unless you switch that off in your account.

Expiry: Points expire 12 months after you earn them; we email you 30 days before.

Points have no cash value and can't be sold or transferred. If an invoice is refunded or charged back, its points are taken back. Aladdin's Auction can change or end the program at any time.
